Our story begins with Grandpa Burnett, who first started raising cattle on this very land in Winslow decades ago. As a third-generation farmer, Brayden carries on that legacy with passion and expertise, while his wife Megan is eagerly learning the ins and outs of farm life. For years, Brayden dreamed of expanding the operation into a business that not only grows the farm but also acts as a leader in our close-knit community. After countless dinner table discussions and long drives through the beautiful Northwest Arkansas countryside, they decided the time was right to launch Homegrown Beef Co.
Nestled in Washington County, just a short drive from bustling hubs like Fayetteville (about 18 miles north) and Fort Smith (around 33 miles south), our location in the NWA region allows us to connect directly with families who value local, traceable food. We’re part of a vibrant area that includes growing cities such as Bentonville (home to Walmart HQ, about 40 miles north), Rogers, Springdale, and even spots like Van Buren and Eureka Springs. This proximity means we can offer fresh, convenient access to our beef without the hassle of long-distance shipping.
Through our online store, we make it effortless to shop for exactly what you need. Build your cart with selections for the month, and we’ll handle the rest. Options range from bulk quantities like whole, half, or quarter beef for stocking your freezer, to individual cuts perfect for weekly meals—think juicy ribeyes, tender T-bones, brisket for barbecues, patties for burgers, short ribs, sirloin tips, stew meat, and more. We designed this flexibility because not everyone has the space or budget for large purchases; our goal is to make locally raised beef accessible, whether you’re planning a family gathering or just need ground beef for tacos.
For customers in the Fayetteville and Fort Smith metro areas—and extending to the broader NWA region including Bella Vista, Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, Winslow, Van Buren, and surrounding communities like Ozark and Prairie Grove—we provide monthly delivery or pickup services. Orders are hand-packed fresh at our farm and delivered on Saturdays or Sundays in insulated coolers, with a flat $10 fee (free for orders over $100) and no minimum order required.
